Four misunderstandings that must be understood before buying cabinets.
Quality depends on the material. The reason why the cabinets produced by small factories are cheap is that besides the processing means, the most important thing is the plate and cost. The surface of inferior board has a trainspotter, color difference, and it feels uneven. The surface of melamine veneer is brittle, and it is easy to fall off after being subjected to external force. From the cross section, the fiber particles of sawdust are uneven in thickness, with large gaps, and there may even be garbage such as dirt, nails and stones. In order to reduce the cost, many workshop-style small factories use a lot of inferior urea-formaldehyde glue, which has no cleaning link. Its performance can't be compared with the physical and chemical properties of high-quality particleboard. It looks similar in appearance, but its internal quality is very different.
Myth 4: There is little difference between domestic formaldehyde standards and foreign ones.
The European testing standard is 9mg, and the domestic regulation of formaldehyde in wood-based panels is: 9mg/100g dry panels, that is, 9 mg of free formaldehyde is allowed in 100 dry panels. The surface seems strict, which is not much different from that in foreign countries, but at the same time, there is another national standard, the allowable formaldehyde content of wood-based panels is 30mg after surface treatment, which is very protective for small production enterprises. When you buy cabinets, the indication of formaldehyde release can never be ignored.
